For Ruin to Reach
This iteration of For Ruin to Reach is a large-scale prototype within an ongoing collaboration between myself and Chicago-based writer Jesi Gaston. The book is 11x11” closed, and is made up of a case paper cover with ingres folios. Jesi wrote all the poetry, which I transcribed in bastard hand with walnut ink. The illustrations began as collages, which I translated into linocuts and screenprinted onto the folios.
